The Problem Statement
Finding a trusted hairstylist for Black people in any given location is a winding process of seeking recommendations from friends, scrolling on Instagram, and trial and error till you find a salon or stylist that works and hope it lasts. However, if it doesn't last finding a replacement should not be a long process.
SAFRO is a platform that focuses on connecting Black people with Black hairstylists in an accessible location to the users.

SAFRO Find a Stylist Page
The target audience finds it difficult to find hair specialists and options in their area.
The Solutions
Users can look up stylists by specific hairstyle, location, desired appointment dates, and the capacity of the hairstylist (Braiding System). Results can then be sorted by best match, price range, distance, and ratings.
Users on SAFRO rely on a rating system, portfolio of work, and transparency of skill levels to build trust.

SAFRO Stylist Listing Page
In the search for a hairstylist, users have FAQs they often have to call to ask about.
On the stylist listing page, users can get answers to the questions they have such as experience, examples of work, booking details, specific requirements for the stylist and more. If they cannot find the information they are looking for, users are given the tools necessary to contact the stylist.
Users on SAFRO can feel safe with stylists on SAFRO as they are vetted for credibility.
